Camel and Rider - Egypt

I don't doubt that some of these guys aren't legitimate, but there's also some crooks up there on the Giza plateau taking advantage when the tourist police aren't looking. My advice, ask your guide to arrange a camel jaunt should you feel the need, or at least wait and see some other tourists coming back from their own happy trip.

Someone I met was asked for extra charges not previously mentioned at the farthest extremity of the camel ride when a long walk back in the full sun was sufficiently unpleasant to make them pay up the additional crooked charge.
